Window of Lights in Downtown San Augustine.

Windows of Light

What is the Windows of Light? Every year in San Augustine, we have people who volunteer to decorate some of our vacant store front windows for Christmas. These people choose their own theme and decorate the windows to help our town celebrate Christmas.

San Augustine Main Street District

The Windows of Light display is so beautiful, and these windows are so much fun to look at! You can walk around the San Augustine Main Street District and admire the artistic talent that it takes to make these windows wish you and your family a Merry Christmas.

Storefront Windows and Vacant Buildings

Not all of the windows are vacant buildings. This project has also inspired some of our local businesses to step up their Christmas decoration game too. The town square is beautiful and what a relaxing place to stroll around and admire the beauty of Small Town America. The San Augustine Garden Club works hard to promote this program and decorate our Courthouse Square.

Local Photographer Webster Bailey

Webster Bailey, a local friend, took these photos for the Window of Lights. His photos are amazing but not quite as good as visiting them in person. The San Augustine Main Street program and other volunteers have really worked hard to make this project lots of fun for everyone.
