If you are looking for a small, cozy place for a short or long-term stay, look no further than The Camper, a delightful 1 bedroom RV/Camper in San Augustine, TX. It offers a queen-size bed with some closet space. The dining table can be converted into a bed. The couch also folds down into a bed. It is equipped with a television, a gas stove, a refrigerator, a Keurig coffee maker, a microwave, an iron and ironing board. The bathroom has a small tub/shower as well as sink and toilet. Bedding and towels are provided. There is no laundry room, but we are located just minutes from town where there are two different laundromats available.
Convenient Location
Bland Lake Hideaway is conveniently located between two great Texas fishing spots – Lake Sam Rayburn and Toledo Bend Reservoir. There are also some nice walking trails in the area. The Pineywoods is a nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and just enjoy the stars, the trees, and the wide-open spaces.
The Camper is situated in Buster’s Private RV Park. It is the second to the last trailer space in the RV park. Look for the “Happy Camper” yard flag. You can park to the left of the camper on the same side as the doors for easy access.

San Augustine is one of the oldest towns in Texas. You don’t want to miss a visit to the town square. Stop in at Hardware on the Square (https://hardwareonthesquare.com/menu-2/) for a gourmet coffee. Browse through the stores on the square. You won’t want to miss a visit to San Augustine Drug, which has an old-time soda counter and a special drink for first-time visitors.
